Pakistan's Goal: Furthering Islamic Jihad In India
The small village of Muridke, 30 KM from Lahore in Pakistan, is
currently witnessing a disgusting and repulsive scene. Thousands
of rabid Muslim terrorists and fundamentalists from all over the
world have overrun the town to collectively declare Jihad (Islamic
holy war) against India and the United States. Most of these
terrorists belong to the Lashkar-e-Toiba terrorist organization
which had called the annual religious meeting, however
representatives from the Taliban and other Islamic terrorist
groups are also present.
The gathering closely resembles Mohammed's barbaric horde of
dacoits which ravaged pre-Islamic Arabia. Each Muslim here is in a
frenzy to prove that he is a better Islamist than the person next
to him. Passages from the Koran are being recited to fuel the fire
of greed and lust within each Muslim terrorist. The Mullahs and
Qazis are preaching the "virtues" of fighting in the way
of Allah and killing the kafirs (non-Muslims). Qazi Abdul Wahid,
who is one of the leaders of Lashkar-e-Toiba tells the Muslims:
"Kill the kafirs and fight in the way of Allah for the
rewards are plentiful. While you are alive you will capture a lot
of booty in the form of money and women and when you die Allah
will reward you with everlasting youth in Jannat (Islamic heaven),
so that you may enjoy copulating with numerous huris (young virgin
women) and ghilmans (young slave boys)."
The lascivious look on faces of these bearded terrorists tells it
all. They are ready to do anything to satisfy their greed and
lust.
The recent attack by three Muslim terrorists from the Lashkar
organization on the Indian army's 15 Corps headquarters in
Srinagar is a testimony to this fact. These Islamic radicals were
on a suicide mission and are called Fidaee in Urdu. In other
words, they are nothing but suicidal maniacs who are eager to go
to Jannat to receive their rewards from Allah.
In the attack on the Indian army headquarters the heavily armed
terrorists first attacked a passing BSF vehicle with a hand
grenade and killed one jawaan. They then killed the two guards at
the gate and forced their way in to the compound. One of them
managed to scale a wall and reach the office of Major Purushottam
who was trying to telephone for help. He was killed instantly and
along with him six of his colleagues were also brutally pumped
with bullets. Major Purushottam was the Defense Ministry's public
relations officer. After killing these personnel the terrorists
retreated to an adjoining cantonment building from where they had
hoped to cause more damage. The Army troops, however reacted
swiftly and reduced the terrorist hide-out to rubble. The search
of the debris revealed that two of the terrorists including Abu
Talha, the Lashkar-e-Toiba district chief of Srinagar had been
killed, but the third one had managed to run away.
Back in Muridke the Lashkar chiefs are touting the
"achievements" of their suicidal terrorists. The
surviving terrorist gave an on the spot commentary of the attack
via radio which was relayed to the members of the Lashkar-e-Toiba.
This seems to have emboldened the others as two days later they
struck again. This time the victims were innocent students and two
Special Operations Group (SOG) personnel. Both the cops and one
student were killed. The other student was seriously injured and
was rushed to a nearby hospital. Official police sources revealed
that the heavily armed terrorists stormed the Matriculation
Examination Center at Wagoora Kreeri Pattan and started firing
indiscriminately.
The news soon reached Muridke and there was further rejoicing
among the Islamists. The leaders of the terrorists made statements
such as:
"Our next target is Vajpayee and his government."
"We can open another Kargil whenever and wherever we
want."
"The Indians will soon face the wrath of Allah."
"The soldiers in the Indian army are cowards."
"One Mujahideen (Islamic terrorist) is equal to 100 kafirs."
"It won't be long before all the Kafirs are killed and
Allah's reign is established in Kashmir."
The vehement condemnation of Hindus was followed up by
"inspiring" passages from the Koran which urge the pious
Muslims to torture and kill the kafirs. The terrorists,
particularly the Talibanis from Afghanistan, also directed some of
their sharp rhetoric against the United States. In a response to
the US demand that Osama-bin-Laden be handed over to the US
administration by November 14, one Muhammad Yusuf said: "We
can never hand him over. He is a hero of Islam. The US will soon
see what it means to oppose the Mujahideen."
Osama-bin-Laden is a notorious Muslim terrorist from the Arab
world who is responsible for masterminding the bomb blasts at the
US embassies in Kenya and Sudan. The US has set a deadline of
November 14th and said that if he is not handed over by that date
then the UN will impose sanctions on Afghanistan.
The terrorists gathered at Muridke took the opportunity to attract
the Muslim population to join the Islamic Jihad. Multiple banners
which had been strung up announced the rewards of Jihad and urged
the Muslims to fight in the "holy" war being carried out
all over the world. They also demanded contributions from the
people who entered the camp. Jamil-ur-Rehman, one of the
terrorists, collected the money saying: "Rs. 10 is the cost
of one bullet. Give us your money here and Allah will reward you
with hundred times as much in Jannat."
The fact that this meeting of terrorists was held in Pakistan
shows that the Islamic terrorists enjoy full support of Pervaiz
Musharraf-the self styled military dictator of Pakistan. Musharraf
has assured the Mujahideen that he will do whatever possible to
help them in their cause. He has appointed Lt. General Mehmood
Ahmad as the new chief of the Pakistani Inter-Services
Intelligence(ISI). Mehmood was one of the architects of the Kargil
invasion along with Musharraf Lt. General Mohammed Aziz. Musharraf
has also directed that certain divisions of the Pakistani army
undergo training exercises. All activities indicate that Pakistan
is planning a major invasion with the help of Islamic terrorists
inside and outside of India. In fact, the Indian intelligence
units have already discovered documents outlining an invasion plan
by the Pakistanis. The documents state that Pakistan, with the
help of the Mujahideens, will step up terrorist activities in
India and weaken the security forces. And when the army's
attention has been diverted it will launch a large scale assault
in Kashmir in April/May of next year.
To effectively counter the terrorist threat the Indian
administration has decided to expand the Rashtriya Rifles which
specializes in counterinsurgency. The paramilitary force will
remain deployed inside, while a new force-the Kilo force will form
the outer security rings of the main towns in Jammu and Kashmir.
After the Kargil experience the Indian army is also training its
soldiers for high mountain warfare. The BJP-led government
severely condemned the Pakistani dictatorship for allowing a
terrorist group to openly hold a meeting in Muridke. A spokesman
from the External Affairs Ministry said, "It is evident to
all that Pakistan sponsors and supports cross-border terrorism. It
is outrageous that a terrorist organization should be allowed to
hold open meetings. Everyone is aware of the activities of the
group."
However, it will take more than just sharp words to deter these
Islamic marauders. The government shouldn't merely react, instead
it should take some strong and harsh actions against Pakistan and
the Muslim terrorists. The increased India-US cooperation against
Islamic terrorism is a step in the right direction. The Indian
government should be lauded for its tremendous efforts to bring
the issue of Islamic terrorism right in the face of the
International community. Now that it is steadily gaining the
community's support the administration should take swift and harsh
actions against Pakistan and the Islamic terrorists it sponsors.
The Muslim terrorists meeting at Muridke and their attacks on the
Indian army headquarters has shown us yet again the murderous
intentions of the Islamists. Hindus have to take note of this
menacing threat and act appropriately as their very survival is at
stake.
