Islamic dreams of quick cash in Kargil and young virgins in
Paradise
It was only about two months back when Pakistani Islamic
fundamentalists organizations like Jamaat-e-Islami and
Hizbul-Mujahideen were heavily recruiting fresh youths for
invading India and "free" Kashmir from the Kafirs
(non-believers in Islam). The rewards promised to each new recruit
were Rs. 1.5 lakh Pakistani Rupees in this world and beautiful
young virgins in the next.
Over a period of last one month, relentless pounding by Indian
Army and round-the-clock bombing by Indian Air Force have
shattered that Islamic dream dreamt by those "soldiers of
Allah". Recent radio wireless intercepts where Islamic
intruders were found to communicate with their Pakistani masters,
provide an accurate picture of the mounting pressure and
desperation felt by the Mujahideens.
A secene from Islamic Paradise
Islamic Intruders and Pakistani army regulars are now accusing
their officials across the Line of Control of ditching them.
Indian Defense officials intercepted the signals while the
intruders were relaying SOS messages to their Pakistani base
commanders in Skardu region. In those messages, the Muslim
intruders were warning their Pakistani officials of dire
consequences for ditching them at the time when they were under
tremendous pressure from Indian army.
In one such message which was intercepted on July 4th, a desperate
Muslim intruder named Shakur was found to transmit signal to his
commander based in Shangruti area of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir
saying, "we have nothing to eat here, we have been betrayed
and we will not spare you and take revenge". In the same
message, Shakur also added, "Tum hamari koi madad nahi kar
rahe ho, hum tumhe nahi bakshenge" (you are not helping us,
we will not spare you)
The intruders were sending frantic messages seeking permission to
withdraw, which their Pakistani commanders had turned down. An
Islamic terrorist named Farooq in a message said his 12 men had
been killed and sought permission from a Pakistani Colonel Karim
for withdrawal. Farooq said, "Hum peechhe hat rahe hain (we
are withdrawing)". The Pakistani Colonel shouted back in
reply, "Neeche aa gaye to goli mardi jayegi (if you climb
down you will be shot dead)"
Islamic terrorists were also found to confess the heavy attack by
Indian army forcing them to flee or keep themselves inside their
bunker. An intruder named Niaz was sending a message saying,
"Dushman sar nikal ne ka bhi mauka nahi de rahe hai (The
enemy, Indian army, is not even allowing us a chance to peep out
from our bunkers).
In some situations, Pakistani officials were still committing
false promises to their Jihadi soldiers. One such conversation
intercepted recently in the Dras sector, which has been translated
from Pushto, is between an intruder at a forward post and unit
headquarters.
Islamic Intruder: "We have got nothing. We have been
betrayed."
Pakistani Headquarters: "Don't worry. We are with you."
Islamic Intruder: "Khan and his men want to come back. We are
being hit by Indian aircraft. We are surrounded from all sides.
Several men have died. We are helpless."
Pakistani Headquarters: "Stay put. We will take revenge from
all of them. Indians will not leave alive."
The intruder was also complaining about how his Pakistani
commanders did not fulfill the promise of giving money to the
Jihadis. In the message, he mentioned that the intruders "did
not got a single rupee of the promised amount".
As the intruders' supply routes and holds had been successfully
cut off or blocked by the Indian forces, Pakistani-backed Muslim
terrorists are also the fast running out of ammunition. The
following radio-interception throws light on the issue.
Islamic Intruder: "We need alu(code name for hand grenades.),
maachis (bullets) and pyaaz (rockets). We have little left with us
now."
Pakistani Headquarters: "You will get everything. We have
sowed some alu last evening. They should be with you soon."
Islamic Intruder: "Tell our families that we're
alright."
Pakistani Headquarters: "OK. We are sending up 25 more men to
join you."
Islamic Intruder: "Our biggest bunker has been destroyed. We
have nowhere to stay."
Pakistani Headquarters: "Repair the bunker."
Islamic Intruder: "There is too much enemy movement on both
our flanks."
Pakistani Headquarters: "Repair the bunker and the telephone
line."
Islamic Intruder: "We do not have any wire to repair the
phone line. But I will try and send a man to do it soon."
But looks like, the soldiers of Allah did not get much time to
either repair the phone lines or the bunkers. Within 32 hours of
declaration of the deadline given by India to Pakistan to retreat
its intruders from LoC, a large number of Muslim extremists in
Drass and Mushkoh Valley were seen fleeing Indian borders with
tails between their legs and white flags in their hands. Although
not all the areas captured by the Islamic terrorists have been
vacated yet, but its just a matter of few days now when all the
soldiers of Allah in Kargil will be kicked back to Pakistan, their
homeland where they have a better chance to dream atleast about
their promised Houris (young virgins) if not the money.
