HOW COULD MUHAMMAD HAVE TAKEN NIGHT JOURNEY TO MOSQUE IN
JERUSALEM NOT BUILT UNTIL AFTER HE DIED?
Al-Aqsa Mosque was not even built until the time of Caliph Omar
- years after Muhammad DIED!
These hadith narrations are obviously FALSE!
Muslim, Book 001, Number 0309:
It is narrated on the authority of Anas b. Malik that the
Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) said: I was brought al-Buraq
Who is an animal white and long, larger than a donkey but smaller
than a mule, who would place his hoof a distance equal to the
range of version. I MOUNTED IT AND CAME TO THE TEMPLE (BAIT MAQDIS
IN JERUSALEM), then tethered it to the ring used by the prophets.
I ENTERED THE MOSQUE AND PRAYED TWO RAK'AHS IN IT, and then came
out and Gabriel brought me a vessel of wine and a vessel of milk.
I chose the milk, and Gabriel said: You have chosen the natural
thing. Then he took me to heaven. Gabriel then asked the (gate of
heaven) to be opened and he was asked who he was. He replied:
Gabriel. He was again asked: Who is with you? He (Gabriel) said:
Muhammad. It was said: Has he been sent for? Gabriel replied: He
has indeed been sent for. And (the door of the heaven) was opened
for us and lo! we saw Adam. He welcomed me and prayed for my good.
Then we ascended to the second heaven. Gabriel (peace be upon him)
(asked the door of heaven to be opened), and he was asked who he
was. He answered: Gabriel; and was again asked: Who is with you?
He replied: Muhammad. It was said: Has he been sent for? He
replied: He has indeed been sent for. The gate was opened. When I
entered 'Isa b. Maryam and Yahya b. Zakariya (peace be upon both
of them), cousins from the maternal side. welcomed me and prayed
for my good Then I was taken to the third heaven and Gabriel asked
for the opening (of the door). He was asked: Who are you? He
replied: Gabriel. He was (again) asked: Who is with you? He
replied Muhammad (may peace be upon him). It was said: Has he been
sent for? He replied He has indeed been sent for. (The gate) was
opened for us and I saw Yusuf (peace of Allah be upon him) who had
been given half of (world) beauty. He welcomed me prayed for my
well-being. Then he ascended with us to the fourth heaven. Gabriel
(peace be upon him) asked for the (gate) to be opened, and it was
said: Who is he? He replied: Gabriel. It was (again) said: Who is
with you? He said: Muhammad. It was said: Has he been sent for? He
replied: He has indeed been sent for. The (gate) was opened for
us, and lo! Idris was there. He welcomed me and prayed for my
well-being (About him) Allah, the Exalted and the Glorious, has
said:" We elevated him (Idris) to the exalted position"
(Qur'an xix. 57). Then he ascended with us to the fifth heaven and
Gabriel asked for the (gate) to be opened. It was said: Who is he?
He replied Gabriel. It was (again) said: Who is with thee? He
replied: Muhammad. It was said Has he been sent for? He replied:
He has indeed been sent for. (The gate) was opened for us and then
I was with Harun (Aaron-peace of Allah be upon him). He welcomed
me prayed for my well-being. Then I was taken to the sixth heaven.
Gabriel (peace be upon him) asked for the door to be opened. It
was said: Who is he? He replied: Gabriel. It was said: Who is with
thee? He replied: Muhammad. It was said: Has he been sent for? He
replied: He has indeed been sent for. (The gate) was opened for us
and there I was with Musa (Moses peace be upon him) He welcomed me
and prayed for my well-being. Then I was taken up to the seventh
heaven. Gabriel asked the (gate) to be opened. It was said: Who is
he? He said: Gabriel It was said. Who is with thee? He replied:
Muhammad (may peace be upon him.) It was said: Has he been sent
for? He replied: He has indeed been sent for. (The gate) was
opened for us and there I found Ibrahim (Abraham peace be upon
him) reclining against the Bait-ul-Ma'mur and there enter into it
seventy thousand angels every day, never to visit (this place)
again. Then I was taken to Sidrat-ul-Muntaha whose leaves were
like elephant ears and its fruit like big earthenware vessels. And
when it was covered by the Command of Allah, it underwent such a
change that none amongst the creation has the power to praise its
beauty.
Then Allah revealed to me a revelation and He made obligatory
for me fifty prayers every day and night. Then I went down to
Moses (peace be upon him) and he said: What has your Lord enjoined
upon your Ummah? I said: Fifty prayers. He said: Return to thy
Lord and beg for reduction (in the number of prayers), for your
community shallnot be able to bear this burden. as I have put to
test the children of Isra'il and tried them (and found them too
weak to bear such a heavy burden). He (the Holy Prophet) said: I
went back to my Lord and said: My Lord, make things lighter for my
Ummah. (The Lord) reduced five prayers for me. I went down to
Moses and said. (The Lord) reduced five (prayers) for me, He said:
Verily thy Ummah shall not be able to bear this burden; return to
thy Lord and ask Him to make things lighter. I then kept going
back and forth between my Lord Blessed and Exalted and Moses, till
He said: There are five prayers every day and night. O Muhammad,
each being credited as ten, so that makes fifty prayers. He who
intends to do a good deed and does not do it will have a good deed
recorded for him; and if he does it, it will be recorded for him
as ten; whereas he who intends to do an evil deed and does not do,
it will not be recorded for him; and if he does it, only one evil
deed will be recorded. I then came down and when I came to Moses
and informed him, he said: Go back to thy Lord and ask Him to make
things lighter. Upon this the Messenger of Allah remarked: I
returned to my Lord until I felt ashamed before Him.
HOW COULD MUHAMMAD TELL FOLLOWERS TO VISIT A MOSQUE IN
JERUSALEM NOT BUILT UNTIL AFTER HE DIED?
Al-Aqsa Mosque was not even built until the time of Caliph Omar
- years after Muhammad DIED!
Abu Dawood, Book 2, Number 0457:
Narrated Maymunah ibn Sa'd:
I said: Apostle of Allah, tell us the legal injunction about
(VISITING) BAYT AL-MUQADDAS (THE DOME OF THE ROCK AT JERUSALEM).
The Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) said: GO AND PRAY THERE.
All the cities at that time were effected by war. IF YOU CANNOT
VISIT IT AND PRAY THERE, THEN SEND SOME OIL TO BE USED IN THE
LAMPS.
Muslim, Book 7: Number 3218:
Abu Huraira (Allah be pleased with him) REPORTED IT DIRECTLY FROM
ALLAH'S APOSTLE (may peace be upon him) that he said: DO NOT
UNDERTAKE JOURNEY BUT TO THREE MOSQUES: this mosque of mine, the
Mosque of al-Haram and THE MOSQUE OF AQSA (BAIT AL-MAQDIS).
PROPHETS’ BODIES DON’T DECAY?
Abu-Dawud, Book 3, Number 1042:
Narrated Aws ibn Aws:
The Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) said: Among the most excellent of
your days is Friday; on it Adam was created, on it he died, on it
the last trumpet will be blown, and on it the shout will be made,
so invoke more blessings on me that day, for YOUR BLESSINGS WILL
BE SUBMITTED TO ME. The people asked: Apostle of Allah, how can it
be that our blessings will be submitted to you while your body is
decayed? He replied: ALLAH, THE EXALTED, HAS PROHIBITED THE EARTH
FROM CONSUMING THE BODIES OF PROPHETS.
MAGIC INCANTATIONS TO REPEL SATAN
Yep, Muslims really believe this malarky!
Bukhari, Volume 4, Book 54, Number 493:
Narrated Ibn 'Abbas:
The Prophet said, "IF ANYONE OF YOU, WHEN HAVING SEXUAL
RELATION WITH HIS WIFE, SAY: 'IN THE NAME OF ALLAH. O ALLAH!
PROTECT US FROM SATAN AND PREVENT SATAN FROM APPROACHING OUR
OFFSPRING YOU ARE GOING TO GIVE US,' and if he begets a child (as
a result of that relation) Satan will not harm it."
Bukhari, Volume 4, Book 54, Number 503:
Narrated Ibn 'Abbas:
The Prophet said, "IF ANYONE OF YOU, ON HAVING SEXUAL
RELATION WITH HIS WIFE, SAYS: 'O ALLAH! PROTECT ME FROM SATAN, AND
PREVENT SATAN FROM APPROACHING THE OFFSPRING YOU ARE GOING TO GIVE
ME,' and if it happens that the lady conceives a child, Satan will
neither harm it nor be given power over it."
Bukhari, Volume 4, Book 54, Number 495:
Narrated Abu Said Al-Khudri:
The Prophet said, "If while you are praying, somebody
intends to pass in front of you, prevent him; and should he
insist, prevent him again; and if he insists again, fight with him
(i.e. prevent him violently e.g. pushing him violently), because
such a person is (like) a devil."
Narrated Muhammad bin Sirin: Abu Huraira said, "Allah's
Apostle put me in charge of the Zakat of Ramadan (i.e.
Zakat-ul-Fitr). Someone came to me and started scooping some of
the foodstuff of (Zakat) with both hands. I caught him and told
him that I would take him to Allah's Apostle." Then Abu
Huraira told the whole narration and added "He (i.e. the
thief) said, 'WHENEVER YOU GO TO YOUR BED, RECITE THE VERSE OF
"AL-KURSI" (2.255) FOR THEN A GUARDIAN FROM ALLAH WILL
BE GUARDING YOU, AND SATAN WILL NOT APPROACH YOU TILL DAWN.'
" On that the Prophet said, "He told you the truth,
though he is a liar, and he (the thief) himself was the
Satan."
Muslim, Book 004, Number 0754:
Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon
him) said: WHEN THE MU'ADHDHIN CALLS TO PRAYER, SATAN RUNS BACK
VEHEMENTLY.
Bukhari, Volume 4, Book 54, Number 514:
Narrated Abu Huraira:
Allah's Apostle said, "IF ONE SAYS ONE-HUNDRED TIMES IN
ONE DAY: "NONE HAS THE RIGHT TO BE WORSHIPPED BUT ALLAH, THE
ALONE WHO HAS NO PARTNERS, TO HIM BELONGS DOMINION AND TO HIM
BELONG ALL THE PRAISES, AND HE HAS POWER OVER ALL THINGS (I.E.
OMNIPOTENT)", ONE WILL GET THE REWARD OF MANUMITTING TEN
SLAVES, AND ONE-HUNDRED GOOD DEEDS WILL BE WRITTEN IN HIS ACCOUNT,
AND ONE-HUNDRED BAD DEEDS WILL BE WIPED OFF OR ERASED FROM HIS
ACCOUNT, AND ON THAT DAY HE WILL BE PROTECTED FROM THE MORNING
TILL EVENING FROM SATAN, and nobody will be superior to him except
one who has done more than that which he has done."
Muslim, Book 004, Number 0753:
AbuHuraira reported the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon
him) as saying: WHEN SATAN HEARS THE CALL TO PRAYER, HE TURNS BACK
AND BREAKS THE WIND SO AS NOT TO BEAR THE CALL BEING MADE, but
when the call is finished he turns round and distracts (the minds
of those who pray), and when he bears the Iqama he again runs away
so as not to hear its voice and when it subsides, he comes back
and distracts (the minds of those who stand for prayer).
Muslim, Book 004, Number 0755:
Suhail reported that his father sent him to Banu Haritha along
with a boy or a man. Someone called him by his name from an
enclosure. He (thenarrator) said: The person with me looked
towards the enclosure, but saw nothing. I made a mention of that
to my father. He said: If I knew that you would meet such a
situation I would have never sent you (there), but (bear in wind)
whenever you hear such a call (from the evil spirits) pronounce
the Adhan. for I have heard Abu Huraira say that the Messenger of
Allah (may peace be upon him) said: WHENEVER ADHAN IS PROCLAIMED,
SATAN RUNS BACK VEHEMENTLY.
Muslim, Book 004, Number 0756:
Abu Huraira reported: The Apostle (may peace be upon him) said
WHEN THE CALL TO PRAYER IS MADE, SATAN RUNS BACK AND BREAKS WIND
SO AS NOT TO HEAR THE CALL BEING MADE, and when the call is
finished. he turns round. When Iqama is proclaimed he turns his
back, and when it is finished he turns round to distract a man,
saying: Re- member such and such; remember such and such,
referring to something the man did not have in his mind, with the
result that he does not know how much he has prayed.
SUN RISES BETWEEN HEAD OF DEVIL?
Bukhari, Volume 4, Book 54, Number 494:
Narrated Ibn Umar:
Allah's Apostle said, "When the (upper) edge of the sun
appears (in the morning), don't perform a prayer till the sun
appears in full, and when the lower edge of the sun sets, don't
perform a prayer till it sets completely. AND YOU SHOULD NOT SEEK
TO PRAY AT SUNRISE OR SUNSET FOR THE SUN RISES BETWEEN TWO SIDES
OF THE HEAD OF THE DEVIL (OR SATAN)."
Abu Dawud, Book 4, Number 1272:
Narrated Amr ibn Anbasah as-Sulami:
I asked: Apostle of Allah, in which part of night the
supplication is more likely to be accepted?
He replied: In the last part: Pray as much as you like, for the
prayer is attended by the angels and it is recorded till you offer
the dawn prayer; then STOP PRAYING WHEN THE SUN IS RISING TILL IT
HAS REACHED THE HEIGHT OF ONE OR TWO LANCES, FOR IT RISES BETWEEN
THE TWO HORNS OF THE DEVIL, and the infidels offer prayer for it
(at that time). Then pray as much as you like, because the prayer
is witnessed and recorded till the shadow of a lance be- comes
equal to it. Then cease prayer, for at that time the Hell-fire is
heated up and doors of Hell are opened.
When the sun declines, pray as much as you like, for the prayer
is witnessed till you pray the afternoon prayer; then cease prayer
till the sun sets, for it sets between the horns of the Devil, and
(at that time) the infidels offer prayer for it. He narrated a
lengthy tradition.
Abbas said: AbuSalam narrated this tradition in a similar
manner from AbuUmamah. If I have made a mistake unintentionally, I
beg pardon of Allah and repent to Him.
BAD DREAMS FROM SATAN AND SPITTING ON LEFT SIDE REPELS THEM?
Bukhari, Volume 4, Book 54, Number 513:
Narrated Abu Qatada:
The Prophet said, "A GOOD DREAM IS FROM ALLAH, AND A BAD
OR EVIL DREAM IS FROM SATAN; SO IF ANYONE OF YOU HAS A BAD DREAM
OF WHICH HE GETS AFRAID, HE SHOULD SPIT ON HIS LEFT SIDE and
should seek Refuge with Allah from its evil, for then it will not
harm him."
LICK YOU HANDS AFTER EATING - OR HAVE SOMEONE LICK THEM -
BEFORE WIPING?
Bukhari, Volume 7, Book 65, Number 366:
Narrated Ibn 'Abbas:
The Prophet said, 'WHEN YOU EAT, DO NOT WIPE YOUR HANDS TILL
YOU HAVE LICKED IT, OR HAD IT LICKED BY SOMEBODY ELSE."
Muslim, Book 023, Number 5037:
Ibn 'Abbas reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him.)
as saying: WHEN ANY ONE OF YOU EATS FOOD HE SHOULD NOT WIPE HIS
HAND UNTIL HE HAS LICKED IT HIMSELF OR HAS GIVEN IT TO SOMEONE
ELSE TO LICK.
Muslim, Book 023, Number 5038:
Ibn 'Abbas reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him)
as saying: WHEN ANY ONE OF YOU EATS FOOD HE SHOULD NOT WIPE HIS
HAND UNTIL HE HAS LICKED IT OR GOT IT LICKED BY (someone else).
Muslim, Book 023, Number 5043:
Jabir reported that ALLAH'S MESSENGER (MAY PEACE BE UPON HIM)
COMMANDED THE LICKING OF FINGERS AND THE DISH, saying: You do not
know in what portion the blessing lies."
Muslim, Book 023, Number 5050:
Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him)
as saying: WHEN ANY ONE OF YOU EATS FOOD HE SHOULD LICK HIS
FINGERS, FOR HE DOES NOT KNOW IN WHAT PART OF THE FOOD STICKING TO
HIS FINGERS THE BLESSING LIES. This hadith has been reported on
the authority of Hammad with the same chain of transmitters, but
with a slight variation of wording.
MUHAMMAD COMMANDED EATING FOOD THAT DROPS TO THE FLOOR FROM
YOUR MOUTH?
Muslim, Book 023, Number 5044:
Jabir reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as
saying: WHEN ANY ONE OF YOU DROPS A MOUTHFUL HE SHOULD PICK IT UP
AND REMOVE ANY OF THE FILTH ON IT, AND THEN EAT IT, AND SHOULD NOT
LEAVE IT FOR THE SATAN, AND SHOULD NOT WIPE HIS HAND WITH TOWEL
UNTIL HE HAS LICKED HIS FINGERS, for he does not know in what
portion of the food the blessing lies.
Muslim, Book 023, Number 5046:
Jabir reported: I heard Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him)
as saying: THE SATAN IS PRESENT WITH ANY ONE OF YOU IN EVERYTHING
HE DOES; HE IS PRESENT EVEN WHEN HE EATS FOOD; SO IF ANY ONE OF
YOU DROPS A MOUTHFUL HE SHOULD REMOVE AWAY ANYTHING FILTHY ON IT
AND EAT IT AND NOT LEAVE FOR THE DEVIL; AND WHEN HE FINISHES
(FOOD) HE SHOULD LICK HIS FINGERS, for he does not know in what
portion of his food the blessing lies.
Muslim, Book 023, Number 5049:
Anas reported that when ALLAH'S MESSENGER (MAY PEACE BE UPON
HIM) ATE FOOD HE LICKED HIS THREE FINGERS, AND HE SAID: WHEN ANY
ONE OF YOU DROPS A MOUTHFUL HE SHOULD REMOVE ANYTHING FILTHY FROM
IT AND THEN EAT IT, AND SHOULD NOT LEAVE IT FOR THE SATAN. HE ALSO
COMMANDED US THAT WE SHOULD WIPE THE DISH SAYING: You do not know
in what portion of your food the blessing lies.
SAFFRON: DID MUHAMMAD USE IT - OR PROHIBIT IT?
Some "infallible" ahadith say the Prophet liked
saffron - and even used it as a dye himself:
Muslim, Book 33, Number 4198:
Narrated Abdullah ibn Umar:
The Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) used to wear tanned leather
sandals and DYE HIS BEARD YELLOW WITH WARS AND SAFFRON.
Muslim, Book 33, Number 4199:
Narrated Abdullah ibn Abbas:
When a man who had dyed himself with henna passed by the
Prophet (peace_be_upon_him), he said: How fine this is! When
another man who had dyed himself with henna and katam passed by,
he said: This is better than that. Then another MAN WHO HAD DYED
HIMSELF WITH YELLOW DYE, PASSED BY, HE SAID: THIS IS BETTER THAN
ALL THAT.
These say JUST THE OPPOSITE:
Muslim, Book 33, Number 4170:
Narrated Anas ibn Malik:
A MAN CAME TO THE APOSTLE OF ALLAH (PEACE_BE_UPON_HIM) AND HE
HAD THE MARK OF YELLOWNESS (OF SAFFRON). The Prophet (peace be
upon him rarely mentioned a thing which he disliked before a man.
WHEN HE WENT AWAY, HE SAID: WOULD THAT YOU TELL THIS MAN THAT HE
SHOULD WASH THIS OFF HIM.
Bukhari, Volume 7, Book 72, Number 738:
Narrated Ibn 'Umar:
THE PROPHET FORBADE MUHRIMS TO WEAR CLOTHES DYED WITH WARS OR
SAFFRON.
THE PROPHET WAS IMMUNE FROM POISON?
Muslim, Book 26, Number 5430:
Anas reported that A JEWESS CAME TO ALLAH'S MESSENGER (MAY
PEACE BE UPON HIM) WITH POISONED MUTTON AND HE TOOK OF THAT WHAT
HAD BEEN BROUGHT TO HIM (Allah's Messenger). (WHEN THE EFFECT OF
THIS POISON WERE FELT BY HIM) HE CALLED FOR HER AND ASKED HER
ABOUT THAT, WHEREUPON SHE SAID: I HAD DETERMINED TO KILL YOU.
THEREUPON HE SAID: ALLAH WILL NEVER GIVE YOU THE POWER TO DO IT.
He (the narrator) said that they (the Companion's of the Holy
Prophet) said: Should we not kill her? Thereupon he said: No. He (Anas)
said: I felt (the affects of this poison) on the uvula of Aitah's
Messenger.
MUSLIM RULERS MUST BE OBEYED - NO MATTER HOW BAD!
Bukhari, Volume 9, Book 89, Number 256:
Narrated Anas bin Malik:
Allah's Apostle said, "YOU SHOULD LISTEN TO AND OBEY, YOUR
RULER EVEN IF HE WAS AN ETHIOPIAN (BLACK) SLAVE WHOSE HEAD LOOKS
LIKE A RAISIN."
Bukhari, Volume 9, Book 89, Number 257:
Narrated Ibn 'Abbas:
The Prophet said, "IF SOMEBODY SEES HIS MUSLIM RULER DOING
SOMETHING HE DISAPPROVES OF, HE SHOULD BE PATIENT, for whoever
becomes separate from the Muslim group even for a span and then
dies, he will die as those who died in the Pre-lslamic period of
ignorance (as rebellious sinners). (See Hadith No. 176 and 177)
Bukhari, Volume 9, Book 88, Number 176:
Narrated Ibn Abbas:
The Prophet said, "WHOEVER DISAPPROVES OF SOMETHING DONE
BY HIS RULER THEN HE SHOULD BE PATIENT, FOR WHOEVER DISOBEYS THE
RULER EVEN A LITTLE (LITTLE = A SPAN) WILL DIE AS THOSE WHO DIED
IN THE PRE-LSLAMIC PERIOD OF IGNORANCE. (I.E. AS REBELLIOUS
SINNERS).
Bukhari, Volume 9, Book 88, Number 177:
Narrated Ibn 'Abbas:
The Prophet said, "WHOEVER NOTICES SOMETHING WHICH HE
DISLIKES DONE BY HIS RULER, THEN HE SHOULD BE PATIENT, for whoever
becomes separate from the company of the Muslims even for a span
and then dies, he will die as those who died in the Pre-lslamic
period of Ignorance (as rebellious sinners). (Fateh-Al-Bari page
112, Vol. 16)
Bukhari, Volume 9, Book 89, Number 258:
Narrated 'Abdullah:
The Prophet said, "A MUSLIM HAS TO LISTEN TO AND OBEY (THE
ORDER OF HIS RULER) WHETHER HE LIKES IT OR NOT, as long as his
orders involve not one in disobedience (to Allah), but if an act
of disobedience (to Allah) is imposed one should not listen to it
or obey it. (See Hadith No. 203, Vol. 4)
MUHMMAD ORDERED HIS FOLLOWERS "KILL THE JEWS"
Muslim, Book 041, Number 6981:
Ibn 'Umar reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as
saying: You will fight against the Jews and you will kill them
until even a stone would say: COME HERE, MUSLIM, THERE IS A JEW
(HIDING HIMSELF BEHIND ME) ; KILL HIM.
Muslim, Book 041, Number 6982:
Ubaidullah has reported this hadith with this chain of
transmitters (and the Words are):" There is a Jew behind
me."
Muslim, Book 041, Number 6983:
Abdullah b. 'Umar reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon
him) as saying: You and the Jews would fight against one another
until a stone would say: MUSLIM, HERE IS A JEW BEHIND ME; COME AND
KILL HIM.
Muslim, Book 041, Number 6984:
Abdullah b. 'Umar reported that Allah's Messenger (may peace be
upon him) said: The Jews will fight against you and you will gain
victory over them until the stone would say: MUSLIM, HERE IS A JEW
BEHIND ME; KILL HIM.
Muslim, Book 041, Number 6985:
Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him)
as saying: The last hour would not come unless the Muslims will
fight against the Jews and the Muslims would kill them until the
Jews would hide themselves behind a stone or a tree and a stone or
a tree would say: MUSLIM, OR THE SERVANT OF ALLAH, THERE IS A JEW
BEHIND ME; COME AND KILL HIM; but the tree Gharqad would not say,

Narrated 'Abdullah bin 'Umar:
Allah's Apostle said, "You (i.e. Muslims) will fight with
the Jews till some of them will hide behind stones. The stones
will (betray them) saying, 'O 'Abdullah (i.e. slave of Allah)!
THERE IS A JEW HIDING BEHIND ME; SO KILL HIM.' "

Narrated Abu Huraira:
Allah's Apostle said, "The Hour will not be established
until you fight with the Jews, and the stone behind which a Jew
will be hiding will say. "O MUSLIM! THERE IS A JEW HIDING

Narrated 'Abdullah bin 'Umar:
I heard Allah's Apostle saying, "The Jews will fight with
you, and you will be given victory over them so that a stone will
say, 'O MUSLIM! THERE IS A JEW BEHIND ME; KILL HIM!' "
FIFTY WOMEN FOR EVERY MAN AT TIME OF END?

Narrated Anas:
I will narrate to you a narration which nobody will narrate to
you after me. I heard that form the Prophet. I heard the Prophet
saying, "The Hour will not be established" or said:
"FROM AMONG THE PORTENTS OF THE HOUR IS THAT the religious
knowledge will betaken away (by the death of religious Scholars)
and general ignorance (of religion) will appear; and the drinking
of alcoholic drinks will be very common, and (open) illegal sexual
intercourse will prevail, and MEN WILL DECREASE IN NUMBER WHILE
WOMEN WILL INCREASE SO MUCH SO THAT, FOR FIFTY WOMEN THERE WILL
ONLY BE ONE MAN TO LOOK AFTER THEM."

Bukhari, Volume 9, Book 84, Number 58:
Narrated Abu Burda:
Abu Musa said, "I came to the Prophet along with two men
(from the tribe) of Ash'ariyin, one on my right and the other on
my left, while Allah's Apostle was brushing his teeth (with a
Siwak), and both men asked him for some employment. The Prophet
said, 'O Abu Musa (O 'Abdullah bin Qais!).' I said, 'By Him Who
sent you with the Truth, these two men did not tell me what was in
their hearts and I did not feel (realize) that they were seeking
employment.' As if I were looking now at his Siwak being drawn to
a corner under his lips, and he said, 'We never (or, we do not)
appoint for our affairs anyone who seeks to be employed. But O Abu
Musa! (or 'Abdullah bin Qais!) Go to Yemen.'" The Prophet
then sent Mu'adh bin Jabal after him and when Mu'adh reached him,
he spread out a cushion for him and requested him to get down (and
sit on the cushion). Behold: There was a fettered man beside Abu
Muisa. Mu'adh asked, "Who is this (man)?" Abu Muisa
said, "HE WAS A JEW AND BECAME A MUSLIM AND THEN REVERTED
BACK TO JUDAISM." Then Abu Muisa requested Mu'adh to sit down
but Mu'adh said, "I WILL NOT SIT DOWN TILL HE HAS BEEN
KILLED. THIS IS THE JUDGMENT OF ALLAH AND HIS APOSTLE (FOR SUCH
CASES) AND REPEATED IT THRICE. THEN ABU MUSA ORDERED THAT THE MAN
BE KILLED, AND HE WAS KILLED. Abu Musa added, "Then we
discussed the night prayers and one of us said, 'I pray and sleep,
and I hope that Allah will reward me for my sleep as well as for
my prayers.'"
Bukhari, Volume 9, Book 84, Number 64:
Narrated 'Ali:
Whenever I tell you a narration from Allah's Apostle, by Allah,
I would rather fall down from the sky than ascribe a false
statement to him, but if I tell you something between me and you
(not a Hadith) then it was indeed a trick (i.e., I may say things
just to cheat my enemy). No doubt I heard Allah's Apostle saying,
"DURING THE LAST DAYS THERE WILL APPEAR SOME YOUNG FOOLISH
PEOPLE who will say the best words but their faith will not go
beyond their throats (i.e. they will have no faith) and WILL GO
OUT FROM (LEAVE) THEIR RELIGION AS AN ARROW GOES OUT OF THE GAME.
SO, WHERE-EVER YOU FIND THEM, KILL THEM, FOR WHO-EVER KILLS THEM
SHALL HAVE REWARD ON THE DAY OF RESURRECTION."
Abu Dawud, Book 38, Number 4341:
Narrated Mu'adh ibn Jabal:
AbuMusa said: Mu'adh came to me when I was in the Yemen. A MAN
WHO WAS JEW EMBRACED ISLAM AND THEN RETREATED FROM ISLAM. WHEN
MU'ADH CAME, HE SAID: I WILL NOT COME DOWN FROM MY MOUNT UNTIL HE
IS KILLED. HE WAS THEN KILLED. One of them said: He was asked to
repent before that.
Muslim, Book 016, Number 4152:
'Abdullah (b. Mas'ud) reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be
upon him) as saying: IT IS NOT PERMISSIBLE TO TAKE THE LIFE OF A
MUSLIM who bears testimony (to the fact that there is no god but
Allah, and I am the Messenger of Allah, BUT IN ONE OF THE THREE
CASES: the married adulterer, a life for life, and THE DESERTER OF
HIS DIN (ISLAM), abandoning the community.
Muslim, Book 016, Number 4154:
'Abdullah (b. Mas'ud) reported: Allah's Messenger (may peace be
upon him) stood up and said: By Him besides Whom there is no god
but He, THE BLOOD OF A MUSLIM who bears the testimony that there
is no god but Allah, and I am His Messenger, MAY BE LAWFULLY SHED
ONLY IN CASE OF THREE PERSONS: THE ONE WHO ABANDONS ISLAM, and
deserts the community [Ahmad, one of the narrators, is doubtful
whether the Holy Prophet (may peace be upon him) used the word
li'l-jama'ah or al-jama'ah), and the married adulterer, and life
for life.
Bukhari, Volume 9, Book 83, Number 17:
Narrated 'Abdullah:
Allah's Apostle said, "THE BLOOD OF A MUSLIM who confesses
that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah and that I am
His Apostle, CANNOT BE SHED EXCEPT IN THREE CASES: In Qisas for
murder, a married person who commits illegal sexual intercourse
and THE ONE WHO REVERTS FROM ISLAM (APOSTATE) AND LEAVES THE
MUSLIMS."
DID ALLAH PREDESTINE ADAM TO EAT THE APPLE?

Narrated Abu Huraira:
The Prophet said, "Adam and Moses argued with each other.
MOSES SAID TO ADAM. 'O ADAM! YOU ARE OUR FATHER WHO DISAPPOINTED
US AND TURNED US OUT OF PARADISE.' Then Adam said to him, 'O
Moses! Allah favored you with His talk (talked to you directly)
and He wrote (the Torah) for you with His Own Hand. DO YOU BLAME
ME FOR ACTION WHICH ALLAH HAD WRITTEN IN MY FATE FORTY YEARS
BEFORE MY CREATION?' So Adam confuted Moses, Adam confuted
Moses," the Prophet added, repeating the Statement three
times.
Bukhari, Volume 4, Book 55, Number 621:
Narrated Abu Huraira:
Allah's Apostle said, "Adam and Moses argued with each
other. Moses said to Adam. 'YOU ARE ADAM WHOSE MISTAKE EXPELLED
YOU FROM PARADISE.' Adam said to him, 'YOU ARE MOSES WHOM ALLAH
SELECTED AS HIS MESSENGER AND AS THE ONE TO WHOM HE SPOKE
DIRECTLY; YET YOU BLAME ME FOR A THING WHICH HAD ALREADY BEEN
WRITTEN IN MY FATE BEFORE MY CREATION?"' Allah's Apostle said
twice, "So, Adam overpowered Moses."
Muslim, Book 033, Number 6409:
Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (way peace be upon him)
as saying: There was argument between Adam and Moses. MOSES SAID
TO ADAM: YOU ARE OUR FATHER. YOU DID US HARM AND CAUSED US TO GET
OUT OF PARADISE. Adam said to him: You are Moses. Allah selected
you (for direct conversation with you) and wrote with His own Hand
the Book (Torah) for you. DESPITE THIS YOU BLAME ME FOR AN ACT
WHICH ALLAH HAD ORDAINED FOR ME FORTY YEARS BEFORE HE CREATED ME.
Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him) said: This is how Adam
came the better of Moses and Adam came the better of Moses.
Muslim, Book 033, Number 6410:
Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him)
as saying: There was argument between Adam and Moses, and Adam
came the better of Moses. Moses said to him: YOU ARE THE SAME ADAM
WHO MISLED PEOPLE, AND CAUSED THEM TO GET OUT OF PARADISE. Adam
said: You are the same (Moses) whom Allah endowed the knowledge of
everything and selected him amongst the people as His Messenger.
He said: Yes. Adam then again said: EVEN THEN YOU BLAME ME FOR AN
AFFAIR WHICH HAD BEEN ORDAINED FOR ME BEFORE I WAS CREATED.
Muslim, Book 033, Number 6411:
Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him)
as saying: There was an argument between Adam and Moses (peace be
upon both of them) in the presence of their Lord. Adam came the
better of Moses. Moses said: ARE YOU THAT ADAM WHOM ALLAH CREATED
WITH HIS HAND AND BREATHED INTO HIM HIS SPRIT, AND COMMANDED
ANGELS TO FALL IN PROSTRATION BEFORE HIM AND HE MADE YOU LIVE IN
PARADISE WITH COMFORT AND EASE. THEN YOU CAUSED THE PEOPLE TO GET
DOWN TO THE EARTH BECAUSE OF YOUR LAPSE. Adam said: Are you that
Moses whom Allah selected for His Messengership and for His
conversation with him and conferred upon you the tablets, in which
everything was clearly explained and granted you the audience in
order to have confidential talk with you. What is your opinion,
how long Torah would have been written before I was created? Moses
said: Forty years before. Adam said: Did you not see these words:
Adam committed an error and he was enticed to (do so). He (Moses)
said: Yes. Whereupon, he (Adam) said: DO YOU THEN BLAME ME FOR AN
ACT WHICH ALLAH HAD ORDAINED FOR ME FORTY YEARS BEFORE HE CREATED
ME? Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) said: This is how
Adam came the better of Moses.
Muslim, Book 033, Number 6412:
Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him)
as saying: There was an argument between Adam and Moses. Moses
said: ARE YOU THAT ADAM WHOSE LAPSE CAUSED YOU TO GET OUT OF
PARADISE? Adam said to him: ARE YOU THAT MOSES WHOM ALLAH SELECTED

WHO HAD A LUNATIC FETTERED IN CHAINS.
His people said: We are told that your companion has brought
some good. Have you something with which you can cure him? I THEN
RECITED SURAT AL-FATIHAH [QURAN, SURAH 1] AND HE WAS CURED. They
gave me one hundred sheep. I then came to the Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him)
and informed him of it.
He asked: Is it only this? The narrator, Musaddad, said in his
other version: Did you say anything other than this? I said: No.
He said: Take it, for by my life, some accept if for a worthless
chain, but you have done so for a genuine one.

Muslim, Book 040, Number 6862:
Anas b. Malik reported Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him)
having said: When the servant is placed in his grave and his
companions retrace their steps arid he hears the noise of the
footsteps, then two angels come to him and make him sit and say to
him: What you have to say about this person (the Holy Prophet)? If
he is d believer, lie would say: I bear testimony to the fact that
he is a servant of Allali and His Messenger. Then it would be said
to him: Look to your seat in the Hell- Fire, for Allah has
substituted (the seat of yours) with a seat in Paradise. Allah's
Messenger (may peace be upon him) said: He would be shown both the
seats. Qatada said: IT WAS MENTIONED TO US THAT HIS GRAVE (THE
GRAVE OF A BELIEVER) EXPANDS TO SEVENTY CUBITS and is full with
verdure until the Day when they would be resurrected.
Has ANY gravedigger seen proof of this? OF COURSE NOT!
NINE-TENTHS OF SORCERY IS IN IRAQ?
Malik, Book 54, Number 54.11.30:
Malik related to me that he heard that UMAR IBN AL-KHATTAB
WANTED TO GO TO IRAQ, and Kabal-Ahbar said to him, "Do not go
there, amir al-muminin. THERE IS NINE-TENTHS OF SORCERY THERE and
it is the place of the rebellious jinn and the disease which the
doctors are unable to cure."
LIFE OF A WOMAN IS WORTH ½ THE LIFE OF A MAN!
Malik, Book 43, Number 43.6.4b:
Yahya related to me from Malik from Yahya ibn Said that Said
ibn al-Musayyab said, "THE BLOOD-MONEY FOR A WOMAN IS THE
SAME AS FOR A MAN UP TO ONE THIRD OF THE BLOOD-MONEY. Her finger
is like his finger, her tooth is like his tooth, her injury which
lays bare the bone is like his, and her head wound which splinters
the bone is like his."
Yahya related to me from Malik that Ibn Shihab and also Urwa
ibn az-Zubayr said the same as SAID IBN AL-MUSAYYAB SAID ABOUT A
WOMAN. HER BLOOD-MONEY FROM A MAN IS THE SAME UP TO A THIRD OF THE
BLOOD-MONEY OF A MAN. If what she is owed exceeds a third of the
blood-money of the man, she is given up to half of the blood-money
of a man.
Malik said, "The explanation of that is that she has
blood-money for a head wound that lays bare the bone and one that
splinters the bone and for what is less than the brain wound and
the belly wound and the like of that of those which obliges a
third of the blood-money or more. If the amount owed her exceeds
that, her blood-money in that is half of the blood-money of a
man."
Yahya related to me from Malik that he heard Ibn Shihab say,
"The precedent of the sunna when a man injures a woman is
that he must pay the blood-money for that injury and there is no
retaliation against him."
Malik said, "That is an accidental injury, when a man
strikes a woman and hits with a blow what he did not intend, for
instance, if he struck her with a whip and cut her eye open and
the like of that."
Malik said about a woman who has a husband and children who are
not from her paternal relatives or her people, that since he is
from another tribe, there is no blood-money against her husband
for her criminal action, nor any against her children if they are
not from her people, nor any against her maternal brothers when
they are not from her paternal relations or her people. These are
entitled to her inheritance but only the paternal relations have
paid blood-money from since the time of the Messenger of Allah,
may Allah bless him and grant him peace. Until today it is like
that with the mawla of a woman. The inheritance they leave goes to
the children of the woman even if they are not from her tribe, but
the blood-money of the criminal act of the mawla is only against
her tribe."
LIFE OF CHRISTIAN OR JEW IS WORTH ½ LIFE OF A MUSLIM!
Malik, Book 43, Number 43.15.8b:
Yahya related to me from Malik that he heard that Umar ibn Abd
al-Aziz gave a decision that WHEN A JEW OR CHRISTIAN WAS KILLED,
HIS BLOOD-MONEY WAS HALF THE BLOOD-MONEY OF A FREE MUSLIM.
Malik said, "What is done in our community, is that a
muslim is not killed for a kafir unless the muslim kills him by
deceit. Then he is killed for it."
Yahya related to me from Malik from Yahya ibn Said that
Sulayman ibn Yasar said, "The blood-money of a magian is
eight hundred dirhams."
Malik said, "This is what is done in our community."
Malik said, "The blood-monies of the jew, christian, and
magian in their injuries, is according to the injury of the
muslims in their blood-moneys. The head wound is a twentieth of
his full blood-money. The wound that opens the head is a third of
his blood-money. The belly-wound is a third of his blood-money.
All their injuries are according to this calculation."
Abu Dawud, Book 39, Number 4527:
Narrated Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-'As:
The value of the blood-money at the time of the Apostle of
Allah (peace_be_upon_him) was eight hundred dinars or eight
thousand dirhams, and THE BLOOD-MONEY FOR THE PEOPLE OF THE BOOK
WAS HALF OF THAT FOR MUSLIMS.
He said: This applied till Umar (Allah be pleased with him)
became caliph and he made a speech in which he said: Take note!
Camels have become dear. So Umar fixed the value for those who
possessed gold at one thousand dinars, for those who possessed
silver at twelve thousand (dirhams), for those who possessed
cattle at two hundred cows, for those who possessed sheep at two
thousand sheep, and for those who possessed suits of clothing at
two hundred suits. He left the blood-money for dhimmis (protected
people) as it was, not raising it in proportion to the increase he
made in the blood-wit.
PARDONING OF MURDERERS IS UP TO MALE RELATIVES!
Malik, Book 43, Number 43.22.15b:
Yahya related to me from Malik that he saw whomever he was
satisfied with among the people of knowledge say about a man who
willed that his murderer be pardoned when he murdered him
intentionally, "That is permitted for him. He is more
entitled to the man's blood than any of his relatives after
him."
Malik said about a man who pardoned murder, after he had
claimed his right and it was obliged for him, "There is no
blood-money against the murderer unless the one who pardons him
stipulates that when he pardons him."
Malik said about the murderer when he was pardoned, "He is
flogged one hundred lashes and jailed for a year."
Malik said, "WHEN A MAN MURDERS INTENTIONALLY AND THERE IS
A CLEAR PROOF OF THAT, AND THE MURDERED MAN HAS SONS AND DAUGHTERS
AND THE SONS PARDON AND THE DAUGHTERS REFUSE TO PARDON, THE PARDON
OF THE SONS IS PERMITTED IN OPPOSITION TO THE DAUGHTERS AND THERE
IS NO AUTHORITY FOR THE DAUGHTERS WITH THE SONS IN DEMANDING BLOOD
AND PARDONING."
HEAVEN IS CLOSED EXCEPT ON MONDAY AND THURSDAY!
Muslim, Book 032, Number 6222:
Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him)
as saying: THE GATES OF PARADISE ARE NOT OPENED BUT ON TWO DAYS,
MONDAY AND THURSDAY. and then every servant (of Allah) is granted
pardon who does not associate anything with Allah except the
person in whose (heart) there is rancour against his brother. And
it would be said: Look towards both of them until there is
reconciliation; look toward both of them until there is
reconciliation; look towards both of them until there is
reconciliation. This hadith has been narrated on the authority of
Suhail who narrated it on the authority of his father with the
chain of transmitters of MaIik, but with this variation of
wording:, (Those would not be granted pardon) who boycott each
other."
HELL IS REALLY CLOSED AND THE DEVIL REALLY IS CHAINED UP FOR
THE MONTH OF RAMADAN?

Allah's Apostle said, "WHEN THE MONTH OF RAMADAN STARTS,
THE GATES OF THE HEAVEN ARE OPENED AND THE GATES OF HELL ARE
CLOSED AND THE DEVILS ARE CHAINED."

Narrated Abu Huraira:
Allah's Apostle said, "WHEN THE MONTH OF RAMADAN COMES,
THE GATES OF PARADISE ARE OPENED AND THE GATES OF THE (HELL) FIRE

Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him)

ABLUTION WATER PURGES ALL SINS? LIKE CHRISTIAN BAPTISM?

Abu Huraira reported: Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him)
said: WHEN A BONDSMAN-A MUSLIM OR A BELIEVER-WASHES HIS FACE (IN
COURSE OF ABLUTION), EVERY SIN HE CONTEMPLATED WITH HIS EYES, WILL
BE WASHED AWAY FROM HIS FACE ALONG WITH WATER, OR WITH THE LAST
DROP OF WATER; WHEN HE WASHES HIS HANDS, EVERY SIN THEY WROUGHT
WILL BE EFFACED FROM HIS HANDS WITH THE WATER, OR WITH THE LAST
DROP OF WATER; AND WHEN HE WASHES HIS FEET, EVERY SIN TOWARDS
WHICH HIS FEET HAVE WALKED WILL BE WASHED AWAY WITH THE WATER OR
WITH THE LAST DROP OF WATER WITH THE RESULT THAT HE COMES OUT PURE
FROM ALL SINS.
Muslim, Book 002, Number 0476:
Uthman b. 'Affan reported: The Messenger of Allah (way peace be
upon him) said: HE WHO PERFORMED ABLUTION WELL, HIS SINS WOULD
COME OUT FROM HIS BODY, EVEN COMING OUT FROM UNDER HIS NAILS.
ABLUTION IS ESSENTIAL WHEN ONE TAKES SOMETHING COOKED WITH THE
HELP OF FIRE ?
Muslim, Book 003, Number 0686:
Zaid b Thabit reported: I heard the Messenger of Allah (may
peace be upon him) say this: ABLUTION IS OBLIGATORY (FOR ONE WHO
TAKES ANYTHING) TOUCHED BY FIRE.
Muslim, Book 003, Number 0687:
'Abdullah b. Ibrahim b. Qariz reported that he found Abu
Huraira performing ablution in the mosque, who said: I am
performing ablution because of having eaten pieces of cheese, for
I heard the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) say:
PERFORM ABLUTION (AFTER EATING ANYTHING) TOUCHED BY FIRE.
Muslim, Book 003, Number 0688:
'Urwa reported on the authority of'A'isha, the wife of the
Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him), saying this: The
Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) said. PERFORM ABLUTION
(AFTER EATING) ANYTHING TOUCHED BY FIRE.
MUHAMMAD WAS FORGIVEN HIS FUTURE SINS IN ADVANCE?
Bukhari, Volume 6, Book 60, Number 3:
Narrated Anas:
The Prophet said, "On the Day of Resurrection the
Believers will assemble and say, 'Let us ask somebody to intercede
for us with our Lord.' So they will go to Adam and say, 'You are
the father of all the people, and Allah created you with His Own
Hands, and ordered the angels to prostrate to you, and taught you
the names of all things; so please intercede for us with your
Lord, so that He may relieve us from this place of ours.' Adam
will say, 'I am not fit for this (i.e. intercession for you).'
Then Adam will remember his sin and feel ashamed thereof. He will
say, 'Go to Noah, for he was the first Apostle, Allah sent to the
inhabitants of the earth.' They will go to him and Noah will say,
'I am not fit for this undertaking.' He will remember his
appeal to his Lord to do what he had no knowledge of, then he will
feel ashamed thereof and will say, 'Go to the Khalil--r-Rahman
(i.e. Abraham).' They will go to him and he will say, 'I am not
fit for this undertaking. Go to Moses, the slave to whom Allah
spoke (directly) and gave him the Torah .' So they will go to him
and he will say, 'I am not fit for this undertaking.' and he will
mention (his) killing a person who was not a killer, and so he
will feel ashamed thereof before his Lord, and he will say, 'Go to
Jesus, Allah's Slave, His Apostle and Allah's Word and a Spirit
coming from Him. Jesus will say, 'I am not fit for this
undertaking, go to MUHAMMAD THE SLAVE OF ALLAH WHOSE PAST AND
FUTURE SINS WERE FORGIVEN BY ALLAH.' So they will come to me and I
will proceed till I will ask my Lord's Permission and I will be
given permission. When I see my Lord, I will fall down in
Prostration and He will let me remain in that state as long as He
wishes and then I will be addressed.' (Muhammad!) Raise your head.
Ask, and your request will be granted; say, and your saying will
be listened to; intercede, and your intercession will be
accepted.' I will raise my head and praise Allah with a saying
(i.e. invocation) He will teach me, and then I will intercede. He
will fix a limit for me (to intercede for) whom I will admit into
Paradise. Then I will come back again to Allah, and when I see my
Lord, the same thing will happen to me. And then I will intercede
and Allah will fix a limit for me to intercede whom I will let
into Paradise, then I will come back for the third time; and then
I will come back for the fourth time, and will say, 'None remains
in Hell but those whom the Quran has imprisoned (in Hell) and who
have been destined to an eternal stay in Hell.' " (The
compiler) Abu 'Abdullah said: 'But those whom the Qur'an has
imprisoned in Hell,' refers to the Statement of Allah:
"They will dwell therein forever." (16.29)
THE WOMAN-BEATING COMPANIONS OF MUHAMMAD!
Hear how Abu Bakr beat Aisha, and Umar beat Hafsa!
Bukhari, Volume 8, Book 82, Number 828:
Narrated Aisha:
ABU BAKR CAME TO TOWARDS ME AND STRUCK ME VIOLENTLY WITH HIS
FIST and said, "You have detained the people because of your
necklace." But I remained motionless as if I was dead lest I
should awake Allah's Apostle although that hit was very painful.
Muslim, Book 009, Number 3506:
Jabir b. 'Abdullah (Allah be pleased with them) reported: Abu
Bakr (Allah be pleased with him) came and sought permission to see
Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him). He found people sitting
at his door and none amongst them had been granted permission, but
it was granted to Abu Bakr and he went in. Then came 'Umar and he
sought permission and it was granted to him, and he found Allah's
Apostle (may peace be upon him) sitting sad and silent with his
wives around him. He (Hadrat 'Umar) said: I would say something
which would make the Holy Prophet (may peace be upon him) laugh,
so he said: Messenger of Allah, I wish you had seen (the treatment
meted out to) the daughter of Khadija when you asked me some
money, and I got up and slapped her on her neck. Allah's Messenger
(mav peace be upon him) laughed and said: They are around me as
you see, asking for extra money. ABU BAKR (ALLAH BE PLEASED WITH
HIM) THEN GOT UP WENT TO 'A'ISHA (ALLAH BE PLEASED WITH HER) AND
SLAPPED HER ON THE NECK, AND 'UMAR STOOD UP BEFORE HAFSA AND
SLAPPED HER SAYING: You ask Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon
him) which he does not possess. They said: By Allah, we do not ask
Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) for anything he does not
possess. Then he withdrew from them for a month or for twenty-nine
days. Then this verse was revealed to him:" Prophet: Say to
thy wives... for a mighty reward" (xxxiii. 28). He then went
first to 'A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) and said: I want to
propound something to you, 'A'isha, but wish no hasty reply before
you consult your parents. She said: Messenger of Allah, what is
that? He (the Holy Prophet) recited to her the verse, whereupon
she said: Is it about you that I should consult my parents,
Messenger of Allah? Nay, I choose Allah, His Messenger, and the
Last Abode; but I ask you not to tell any of your wives what I
have said He replied: Not one of them will ask me without my
informing her. God did not send me to be harsh, or cause harm, but
He has sent me to teach and make things easy.
THE WIFE OF THE PROPHET WHO WAS SO YOUNG SHE WAS PLAYING WITH
DOLLS!
Bukhari, Volume 8, Book 73, Number 151:
Narrated 'AISHA:
I USED TO PLAY WITH THE DOLLS IN THE PRESENCE OF THE PROPHET,
AND MY GIRL FRIENDS ALSO USED TO PLAY WITH ME. When Allah's
Apostle used to enter (my dwelling place) they used to hide
themselves, but the Prophet would call them to join and play with
me. (The playing with the dolls and similar images is forbidden,
but it was allowed for 'Aisha at that time, as she was a little
girl, not yet reached the age of puberty.) (Fateh-al-Bari page
143, Vol.13)
Abu Dawud, Book 41, Number 4914:
Narrated AISHA, Ummul Mu'minin:
When the Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) arrived after the
expedition to Tabuk or Khaybar (the narrator is doubtful), the
draught raised an end of a curtain which was hung in front of her
store-room, REVEALING SOME DOLLS WHICH BELONGED TO HER.
HE ASKED: WHAT IS THIS? SHE REPLIED: MY DOLLS. Among them he
saw a horse with wings made of rags, and asked: What is this I see
among them? She replied: A horse. He asked: What is this that it
has on it? She replied: Two wings. He asked: A horse with two
wings? She replied: Have you not heard that Solomon had horses
with wings? She said: Thereupon the Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him)
laughed so heartily that I could see his molar teeth.
ALLAH LOVES ODD NUMBERS?
Bukhari, Volume 8, Book 75, Number 419:
Narrated Abu Huraira:
Allah has ninety-nine Names, i.e., one hundred minus one, and
whoever believes in their meanings and acts accordingly, will
enter Paradise; and ALLAH IS WITR (ONE) AND LOVES 'THE WITR'
(I.E., ODD NUMBERS).
SUMMER HEAT IS FROM THE RAGING OF HELL-FIRE? WINTER COLD ALSO
FROM HELL?
Bukhari, Volume 1, Book 10, Number 511:
Narrated Abu Dhar:
The Muadhdhin (call-maker) of the Prophet pronounced the Adhan
(call) for the Zuhr prayer but the Prophet said, "Let it be
cooler, let it be cooler." Or said, 'Wait, wait, because THE
SEVERITY OF HEAT IS FROM THE RAGING OF THE HELL-FIRE. In severe
hot weather, pray when it becomes (a bit) cooler and the shadows
of hillocks appear."
Bukhari, Volume 1, Book 10, Number 512:
Narrated Abu Huraira:
The Prophet said, "IN VERY HOT WEATHER DELAY THE ZUHR
PRAYER TILL IT BECOMES (A BIT) COOLER BECAUSE THE SEVERITY OF HEAT
IS FROM THE RAGING OF HELL-FIRE. The Hell-fire of Hell complained
to its Lord saying: O Lord! My parts are eating (destroying) one
another. So ALLAH ALLOWED IT TO TAKE TWO BREATHS, ONE IN THE
WINTER AND THE OTHER IN THE SUMMER. THE BREATH IN THE SUMMER IS AT
THE TIME WHEN YOU FEEL THE SEVEREST HEAT AND THE BREATH IN THE
WINTER IS AT THE TIME WHEN YOU FEEL THE SEVEREST COLD."
Bukhari, Volume 1, Book 10, Number 513:
Narrated Abu Sa'id: that Allah's Apostle said, "Pray Zuhr
prayer when it becomes (a bit) cooler as THE SEVERITY OF HEAT IS
FROM THE RAGING OF THE HELL-FIRE."
Bukhari, Volume 1, Book 10, Number 514:
Narrated Abu Dhar Al-Ghifar:
We were with the Prophet on a journey and the Mu'adhdhin (call
maker for the prayer) wanted to pronounce the Adhan (call) for the
Zuhr prayer. The Prophet said, 'Let it become cooler." He
again (after a while) wanted to pronounce the Adhan but the
Prophet said to him, "Let it become cooler till we see the
shadows of hillocks." The Prophet added, "THE SEVERITY
OF HEAT IS FROM THE RAGING OF THE HELL-FIRE, and in very hot
weather pray (Zuhr) when it becomes cooler."
Muslim, Book 004, Number 1282:
Abu Huraira reported that the Messenger of Allah (may peace he
upon him) said: When it is very hot, say (the noon prayer) when
the extreme heat passes away, for INTENSITY OF HEAT IS FROM THE
EXHALATION OF HELL.
Muslim, Book 004, Number 1284:
Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon
him) said: When it is a hot day, (delay) the prayer till the
extreme heat passes away, for THE INTENSITY OF HEAT IS FROM THE
EXHALATION OF HELL.
Muslim, Book 004, Number 1285:
Abu Huraira reported: Refrain from saying (the noon prayer)
till the extreme heat passes away, for THE INTENSITY OF HEAT IS
FROM THE EXHALATION OF HELL.
Muslim, Book 004, Number 1287:
Abu Huraira reported that the Messenger of Allah (may peace be
upon him) said: THIS HEAT IS FROM THE EXHALATION OF HELL-FIRE, SO
DELAY THE PRAYER TILL IT IS COOL.
Muslim, Book 004, Number 1288:
Hammam b. Munabbih reported: This is what Abu Huraira narrated
to us from the Holy Prophet and he transmitted some ahadith-one of
them was that the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) said:
Let the heat become less severe before prayer, for THE INTENSITY
OF HEAT IS FROM THE EXHALATION OF HELL.
Muslim, Book 004, Number 1289:
Abu Dharr reported: The Mu'adhdbin (the announcer of the hour
of prayer) of the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him)
called for the noon prayer. Upon this the Apostle of Allah (may
peace be upon him) said: Let it cool down, let it cool down, or he
said: Wait, wait for THE INTENSITY OF HEAT IS FROM THE EXHALATION
OF HELL. When the heat is intense, delay the prayer till it
becomes cooler. Abu Dharr said: (We waited) till we saw the shadow
of the mounds.
Muslim, Book 004, Number 1290:
Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon
him) said: The Fire made a complaint before the Lord saying."
O Lord, some parts of mine have consumed the others." SO IT
WAS ALLOWED TO TAKE TWO EXHALATIONS, ONE EXHALATION IN WINTER AND
THE OTHER EXHALATION IN SUMMER. THAT IS WHY YOU FIND EXTREME HEAT
(IN SUMMER) AND EXTREME COLD (IN WINTER).
Muslim, Book 004, Number 1291:
Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon
him) said: WHEN IT IS HOT, MAKE DELAY (IN THE NOON PRAYER) TILL IT
COOLS DOWN, FOR THE INTENSITY OF HEAT IS FROM THE EXHALATION OF
HELL; and lie also mentioned that the Hellfire complained to the
Lord (about the congested atmosphere) and so it was permitted to
take two exhalation during the whole year, one exhalation during
the winter and one exhalation during the summer.
Muslim, Book 004, Number 1292:
Abu Huraira reported that the Messenger of Allah (may peace be
upon him) said: The Fire said to the Lord: O Lord! some parts of
mine have consumed the others, so allow me to exhale (in order to
find some relief from this congestion). It was granted permission
to take two exhalations, one exhalation during the winter and the
other exhalation during the summer SO WHATEVER YOU PERCEIVE IN THE
FORM OF INTENSE COLD OR HURTING COLD IS FROM THE EXHALATION OF
HELL. AND WHATEVER YOU PERCEIVE IN THE FORM OF EXTREME HEAT OR
INTENSE BEAT IS FROM THE EXHALATION OF HELL.
Malik, Book 1, Number 1.7.28:
Malik related to us from Abdullah ibn Yazid the mawla of al-Aswad
ibn Sufyan, from Abu Salama ibn Abd ar-Rahman from Muhammad ibn
Abd ar-Rahman ibn Thawban from Abu Hurayra that the Messenger of
Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "WHEN
THE HEAT IS FIERCE DELAY THE PRAYER UNTIL IT GETS COOLER, FOR
SCORCHING HEAT IS A PART OF THE BLAST OF JAHANNAM."
He added, "THE FIRE COMPLAINED TO ITS LORD, SO HE ALLOWED
IT TWO BREATHS IN EACH YEAR, A BREATH IN WINTER AND A BREATH IN
SUMMER."
WIFE BEATING IS OK?
The Quran Says:
004.034
YUSUFALI: Men are the protectors and maintainers
of women, because Allah has given the one more (strength) than the
other, and because they support them from their means. Therefore
the righteous women are devoutly obedient, and guard in (the
husband's) absence what Allah would have them guard. As to those
women on whose part ye fear disloyalty and ill-conduct, admonish
them (first), (Next), refuse to share their beds, (And last) BEAT
THEM (lightly); but if they return to obedience, seek not against
them Means (of annoyance): For Allah is Most High, great (above
you all).
PICKTHAL: Men are in charge of women, because
Allah hath made the one of them to excel the other, and because
they spend of their property (for the support of women). So good
women are the obedient, guarding in secret that which Allah hath
guarded. As for those from whom ye fear rebellion, admonish them
and banish them to beds apart, and SCOURGE THEM. Then if they obey
you, seek not a way against them. Lo! Allah is ever High, Exalted,
Great.
SHAKIR: Men are the maintainers of women because
Allah has made some of them to excel others and because they spend
out of their property; the good women are therefore obedient,
guarding the unseen as Allah has guarded; and (as to) those on
whose part you fear desertion, admonish them, and leave them alone
in the sleeping-places and BEAT THEM; then if they obey you, do
not seek a way against them; surely Allah is High, Great.

Even HADITH-REJECTOR Rashad Khalifa admitted that the Quran
authorizes wife-beating:
[4:34] . . . If you experience rebellion from the women, you
shall first talk to them, then (you may
use negative incentives like) deserting them in bed,
then you may (as a last alternative)
BEAT THEM. . . .

Abu Dawud, Book 11, Number 2141:
Narrated Abdullah ibn AbuDhubab:
Iyas ibn Abdullah ibn AbuDhubab reported the Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him)
as saying: Do not beat Allah's handmaidens, but when Umar came to
the Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) and said: WOMEN HAVE
BECOME EMBOLDENED TOWARDS THEIR HUSBANDS, HE (THE PROPHET) GAVE
PERMISSION TO BEAT THEM. Then many women came round the family of
the Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) complaining against their
husbands. So the Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) said: Many
women have gone round Muhammad's family complaining against their
husbands. They are not the best among you.
Abu Dawud, Book 11, Number 2142:
Narrated Umar ibn al-Khattab:
The Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) said: A MAN WILL NOT BE ASKED
AS TO WHY HE BEAT HIS WIFE.
CUT OFF HANDS OF THIEVES?
The Quran Says:
005.038
YUSUFALI: AS TO THE THIEF, MALE OR FEMALE, CUT
OFF HIS OR HER HANDS: a punishment by way of example, from Allah,
for their crime: and Allah is Exalted in power.
PICKTHAL: AS FOR THE THIEF, BOTH MALE AND FEMALE,
CUT OFF THEIR HANDS. It is the reward of their own deeds, an
exemplary punishment from Allah. Allah is Mighty, Wise.
SHAKIR: AND (AS FOR) THE MAN WHO STEALS AND THE
WOMAN WHO STEALS, CUT OFF THEIR HANDS AS A PUNISHMENT for what
they have earned, an exemplary punishment from Allah; and Allah is
Mighty, Wise

Even hadith-rejector Rashad Khalifa admitted in his 1980 Quran
translation that the Quran says:
[5:38]: THE THIEF, MALE OR FEMALE, SHALL BE PUNISHED BY CUTTING
THEIR HANDS AS A PUNISHMENT FOR THEIR CRIME, as well as a
deterrent from God. God is almighty, wise.

The hadith literature agrees in prescribing amputation as a
penalty for theft:
Muslim, Book 017, Number 4175:
'A'isha reported that Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him)
CUT OFF THE HAND OF A THIEF for a quarter of a dinar and upwards.
Muslim, Book 017, Number 4183:
Ibn 'Umar reported that Allah's Messenger (may peace upon him)
CUT OFF THE HAND OF A THIEF (in case of the theft) of a shield the
price of which was three dirhams.
Muslim, Book 017, Number 4185:
Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him)
as saying: LET THERE BE THE CURSE OF ALLAH UPON THE THIEF WHO
STEALS AN EGG AND HIS HAND IS CUT OFF, AND STEALS A ROPE AND HIS
HAND IS CUT OFF.
Muslim, Book 017, Number 4187:
'A'isha reported that the Quraish had been anxious about the
Makhzumi woman who had committed theft, and said: Who will speak
to Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) about her? They said:
Who dare it, but Usama, the loved one of Allah's Messenger (may
peace be upon him)? So Usama spoke to him. Thereupon Allah's
Messenger (may peace be upon him) said: Do you intercede regarding
one of the punishments prescribed by Allah? He then stood up and
addressed (people) saying: O people, those who have gone before
you were destroyed, because if any one of high rank committed
theft amongst them, they spared him; and it anyone of low rank
committed theft, they inflicted the prescribed punishment upon
him. BY ALLAH, IF FATIMA, DAUGHTER OF MUHAMMAD, WERE TO STEAL, I
WOULD HAVE HER HAND CUT OFF. In the hadith transmitted on the
authority of Ibn Rumh (the words are):" Verily those before
you perished."
Muslim, Book 017, Number 4188:
'A'isha, the wife of Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him),
reported that the Quraish were concerned about the woman who had
committed theft during the lifetime of Allah's Apostle (may peace
be upon him), in the expedition of Victory (of Mecca). They said:
Who would speak to Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) about
her? They (again) said: Who can dare do this but Usama b Zaid, the
loved one of Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him)? She was
brought to Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) and Usama b.
Zaid spoke about her to him (interceded on her behalf). The colour
of the face of Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) changed,
and he said: Do you intercede in one of the prescribed punishments
of Allah? He (Usama) said: 'Messenger of Allah, seek forgiveness
for me. When it was dusk. Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon
him) stood up and gave an address. He (first) glorified Allah as
He deserves, and then said: Now to our topic. This (injustice)
destroyed those before you that when any one of (high) rank
committed theft among them, they spared him, and when any weak one
among them committed theft, they inflicted the prescribed
punishment upon him. By Him in Whose Hand is my life, EVEN IF
FATIMA DAUGHTER OF MUHAMMAD WERE TO COMMIT THEFT, I WOULD HAVE CUT
OFF HER HAND. HE (THE HOLY PROPHET) THEN COMMANDED ABOUT THAT
WOMAN WHO HAD COMMITTED THEFT, AND HER HAND WAS CUT OFF. 'A'isha
(further) said: Hers was a good respentance, and she later on
married and used to come to me after that, and I conveyed her
needs (and problems) to Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him).
Muslim, Book 017, Number 4189:
'A'isha reported that A WOMAN FROM THE TRIBE OF MAKHZUM USED TO
BORROW THINGS (FROM PEOPLE) AND THEN DENIED (HAVING TAKEN THEM).
ALLAH'S APOSTLE (MAY PEACE BE UPON HIM) COMMANDED HER HAND TO BE
CUT OFF. Her relatives came to Usama b. Zaid and spoke to him
(requesting him to intercede on her behalf). He spoke to Allah's
Messenger (may peace be upon him) about her. The rest of the
hadith is the same.
Muslim, Book 017, Number 4190:
Jaibir reported that a woman from the tribe of Makhzum
committed theft. She was brought to Allah's Apostle (may peace be
upon him) and she sought refuge (intercession) from Umm Salama,
the wife of Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him). Thereupon
Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him) said: By Allah, EVEN IF
SHE WERE FATIMA, I WOULD HAVE HER HAND CUT OFF. AND THUS HER HAND
WAS CUT OFF.
Bukhari, Volume 8, Book 81, Number 778:
Narrated 'Aisha:
Usama approached the Prophet on behalf of a woman (who had
committed theft). The Prophet said, "The people before you
were destroyed because they used to inflict the legal punishments
on the poor and forgive the rich. By Him in Whose Hand my soul is!
If FATIMA (THE DAUGHTER OF THE PROPHET ) DID THAT (I.E. STOLE), I
WOULD CUT OFF HER HAND."
Bukhari, Volume 8, Book 81, Number 779:
Narrated 'Aisha:
The Quraish people became very worried about the Makhzumiya
lady who had committed theft. They said, "Nobody can speak
(in favor of the lady) to Allah's Apostle and nobody dares do that
except Usama who is the favorite of Allah's Apostle. " When
Usama spoke to Allah's Apostle about that matter, Allah's Apostle
said, "Do you intercede (with me) to violate one of the legal
punishment of Allah?" Then he got up and addressed the
people, saying, "O people! The nations before you went astray
because if a noble person committed theft, they used to leave him,
but if a weak person among them committed theft, they used to
inflict the legal punishment on him. BY ALLAH, IF FATIMA, THE
DAUGHTER OF MUHAMMAD COMMITTED THEFT, MUHAMMAD WILL CUT OFF HER
HAND.!"

he said: CUT OFF HIS HAND. SO HIS (RIGHT) HAND WAS CUT OFF.
He was brought a second time and he said: Kill him. The people
said: He has committed theft, Apostle of Allah!
Then he said: CUT OFF HIS FOOT.
SO HIS (LEFT) FOOT WAS CUT OFF.
He was brought a third time and he said: Kill him.
The people said: He has committed theft, Apostle of Allah!
So he said: CUT OFF HIS HAND. (SO HIS (LEFT) HAND WAS CUT OFF.)
He was brought a fourth time and he said: Kill him.
The people said: He has committed theft, Apostle of Allah!
So he said: CUT OFF HIS FOOT. SO HIS (RIGHT) FOOT WAS CUT OFF.
HE WAS BROUGHT A FIFTH TIME AND HE SAID: KILL HIM.
So we took him away and killed him. We then dragged him and
cast him into a well and threw stones over him.
Abu Dawud, Book 38, Number 4397:
Narrated Fadalah ibn Ubayd:
A THIEF WAS BROUGHT TO THE APOSTLE OF ALLAH (PEACE_BE_UPON_HIM)
AND HIS HAND WAS CUT OFF. Thereafter he commanded for it, and it

if they repent and establish worship and pay the poor-due, then
leave their way free. Lo! Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.
SHAKIR: SO WHEN THE SACRED MONTHS HAVE PASSED
AWAY, THEN SLAY THE IDOLATERS WHEREVER YOU FIND THEM, AND TAKE
THEM CAPTIVES AND BESIEGE THEM AND LIE IN WAIT FOR THEM IN EVERY
AMBUSH, then if they repent and keep up prayer and pay the
poor-rate, leave their way free to them; surely Allah is

Narrated Jubair bin Haiya:
'Umar sent the Muslims to the great countries to fight the
pagans. When Al-Hurmuzan embraced Islam, 'Umar said to him.
"I would like to consult you regarding these countries which
I intend to invade." Al-Hurmuzan said, "Yes, the example
of these countries and their inhabitants who are the enemies. of
the Muslims, is like a bird with a head, two wings and two legs;
If one of its wings got broken, it would get up over its two legs,
with one wing and the head; and if the other wing got broken, it
would get up with two legs and a head, but if its head got
destroyed, then the two legs, two wings and the head would become
useless. The head stands for Khosrau, and one wing stands for
Caesar and the other wing stands for Faris. So, order the Muslims
to go towards Khosrau." So, 'Umar sent us (to Khosrau)
appointing An-Numan bin Muqrin as our commander. When we reached
the land of the enemy, the representative of Khosrau came out with
forty-thousand warriors, and an interpreter got up saying,
"Let one of you talk to me!" Al-Mughira replied,
"Ask whatever you wish." The other asked, "Who are
you?" Al-Mughira replied, "We are some people from the
Arabs; we led a hard, miserable, disastrous life: we used to suck
the hides and the date stones from hunger; we used to wear clothes
made up of fur of camels and hair of goats, and to worship trees
and stones. While we were in this state, the Lord of the Heavens
and the Earths, Elevated is His Remembrance and Majestic is His
Highness, sent to us from among ourselves a Prophet whose father
and mother are known to us. OUR PROPHET, THE MESSENGER OF OUR
LORD, HAS ORDERED US TO FIGHT YOU TILL YOU WORSHIP ALLAH ALONE OR
GIVE JIZYA (I.E. TRIBUTE); and our Prophet has informed us that
our Lord says:-- "Whoever amongst us is killed (i.e.
martyred), shall go to Paradise to lead such a luxurious life as
he has never seen, and whoever amongst us remain alive, shall
become your master." (Al-Mughira, then blamed An-Numan for
delaying the attack and) An-Nu' man said to Al-Mughira, "If
you had participated in a similar battle, in the company of
Allah's Apostle he would not have blamed you for waiting, nor
would he have disgraced you. But I accompanied Allah's Apostle in
many battles and it was his custom that if he did not fight early
by daytime, he would wait till the wind had started blowing and
the time for the prayer was due (i.e. after midday)."
Bukhari, Volume 9, Book 84, Number 59:
Narrated Abu Huraira:
When the Prophet died and Abu Bakr became his successor and
some of the Arabs reverted to disbelief, 'Umar said, "O Abu
Bakr! How can you fight these people although ALLAH'S APOSTLE
SAID, 'I HAVE BEEN ORDERED TO FIGHT THE PEOPLE TILL THEY SAY:
'NONE HAS THE RIGHT TO BE WORSHIPPED BUT ALLAH, 'and whoever said,
'None has the right to be worshipped but Allah', Allah will save
his property and his life from me, unless (he does something for
which he receives legal punishment) justly, and his account will
be with Allah?' "Abu Bakr said, "By Allah! I will fight
whoever differentiates between prayers and Zakat as Zakat is the
right to be taken from property (according to Allah's Orders). By
Allah! If they refused to pay me even a kid they used to pay to
Allah's Apostle, I would fight with them for withholding it."
'Umar said, "By Allah: It was nothing, but I noticed that
Allah opened Abu Bakr's chest towards the decision to fight,
therefore I realized that his decision was right
Muslim, Book 001, Number 0029:
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Huraira that when the
Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) breathed his last and
Abu Bakr was appointed as his successor (Caliph), those amongst
the Arabs who wanted to become apostates became apostates. 'Umar
b. Khattab said to Abu Bakr: Why would you fight against the
people, when the Messenger of Allah declared: I HAVE BEEN DIRECTED
TO FIGHT AGAINST PEOPLE SO LONG AS THEY DO NOT SAY: THERE IS NO
GOD BUT ALLAH, and he who professed it was granted full protection
of his property and life on my behalf except for a right? His
(other) affairs rest with Allah. Upon this Abu Bakr said: By
Allah, I would definitely fight against him who severed prayer
from Zakat, for it is the obligation upon the rich. By Allah, I
would fight against them even to secure the cord (used for
hobbling the feet of a camel) which they used to give to the
Messenger of Allah (as zakat) but now they have withheld it. Umar
b. Khattab remarked: By Allah, I found nothing but the fact that
Allah had opened the heart of Abu Bakr for (perceiving the
justification of) fighting (against those who refused to pay Zakat)
and I fully recognized that the (stand of Abu Bakr) was right.
Muslim, Book 001, Number 0030:
It is reported on the authority of Abu Huraira that the
Messenger of Allah said: I HAVE BEEN COMMANDED TO FIGHT AGAINST
PEOPLE SO LONG AS THEY DO NOT DECLARE THAT THERE IS NO GOD BUT
ALLAH, and he who professed it was guaranteed the protection of
his property and life on my behalf except for the right affairs
rest with Allah.

It is reported on the authority of Abu Huraira that he heard
the Messenger of Allah say: I HAVE BEEN COMMANDED TO FIGHT AGAINST

It is narrated on the authority of Jabir that the Messenger of
Allah said: I HAVE BEEN COMMANDED THAT I SHOULD FIGHT AGAINST
PEOPLE TILL THEY DECLARE THAT THERE IS NO GOD BUT ALLAH, AND WHEN
THEY PROFESS IT THAT THERE IS NO GOD BUT ALLAH, their blood and
riches are guaranteed protection on my behalf except where it is
justified by law, and their affairs rest with Allah, and then he
(the Holy Prophet) recited (this verse of the Holy Qur'an):"
Thou art not over them a warden" (lxxxviii, 22).

It has been narrated on the authority of Abdullah b. 'Umar that

While we were in the Mosque, the Prophet came out and said,
"Let us go to the Jews" We went out till we reached
Bait-ul-Midras. He said to them, "IF YOU EMBRACE ISLAM, YOU
WILL BE SAFE. YOU SHOULD KNOW THAT THE EARTH BELONGS TO ALLAH AND
HIS APOSTLE, AND I WANT TO EXPEL YOU FROM THIS LAND. So, if anyone
amongst you owns some property, he is permitted to sell it,
otherwise you should know that the Earth belongs to Allah and His
Apostle."
THE PROPHET APPROVED DESTRUCTION OF NON-MUSLIM SHRINE AND

In the Pre-lslamic Period of Ignorance THERE WAS A HOUSE CALLED
DHU-L-KHALASA OR AL-KA'BA AL-YAMANIYA OR AL-KA'BA ASH-SHAMIYA. The
Prophet said to me, "Won't you relieve me from Dhu-l-Khalasa?"
SO I SET OUT WITH ONE-HUNDRED-AND-FIFTY RIDERS, AND WE DISMANTLED
IT AND KILLED WHOEVER WAS PRESENT THERE. THEN I CAME TO THE
PROPHET AND INFORMED HIM, AND HE INVOKED GOOD UPON US AND AL-AHMAS
(TRIBE)
Bukhari, Volume 5, Book 58, Number 160:
Narrated Jarir bin 'Abdullah:
Allah's Apostle has never refused to admit me since I embraced
Islam, and whenever he saw me, he would smile. (In another
narration) Jarir bin 'Abdullah narrated: THERE WAS A HOUSE CALLED
DHUL-KHALASA IN THE PRE-LSLAMIC PERIOD AND IT WAS ALSO CALLED AL-KA'BA
AL-YAMANIYA OR AL-KA'BA ASH-SHAMIYA. ALLAH'S APOSTLE SAID TO ME,
"WILL YOU RELIEVE ME FROM DHUL-KHALASA?" SO I LEFT FOR
IT WITH 150 CAVALRYMEN FROM THE TRIBE OF AHMAS AND THEN WE
DESTROYED IT AND KILLED WHOEVER WE FOUND THERE. THEN WE CAME TO
THE PROPHET AND INFORMED HIM ABOUT IT. HE INVOKED GOOD UPON US AND
UPON THE TRIBE OF AHMAS.

The Verse:--"You (true Muslims) are the best of peoples
ever raised up for mankind." means, the best of peoples for
the people, AS YOU BRING THEM WITH CHAINS ON THEIR NECKS TILL THEY
EMBRACE ISLAM.
MUSLIM MEN GET A PEARL PAVILION SIXTY MILES WIDE AND FOUR WIVES

Allah's Apostle said, "IN PARADISE THERE IS A PAVILION

WHICH THERE ARE WIVES WHO WILL NOT SEE THOSE IN THE OTHER CORNERS;
AND THE BELIEVERS WILL VISIT AND ENJOY THEM. And there are two
gardens, the utensils and contents of which are made of silver;
and two other gardens, the utensils and contents of which are made
of so-and-so (i.e. gold) and nothing will prevent the people
staying in the Garden of Eden from seeing their Lord except the
curtain of Majesty over His Face."

FORBADE TO PREPARE NABIDH IN GOURD AND VARNISHED JAR. This hadith
has been narrated through another chain of transmitters with a
slight variation of wording.

Ibrahim reported: I said to Aswad if he had asked the Mother of
the Believers (in which utensils) he (the Holy Prophet)
disapproved the preparation of Nabidh. He (Aswad) said: Yes. I
said: Mother of the Believers, inform me about the utensils in
which) Allah's Apostle forbade to prepare Nabidh. She (Hadrat 'A'isha)
said: HE FORBADE US, THE MEMBERS OF HIS FAMILY, TO PREPARE NABIDH
IN GOURD, OR VARNISHED JAR. I said to him: Do you remember green
pitcher, and pitcher? He said: I narrated to you what I have
heard; should I narrate to you which I did not hear?

PEACE BE UPON HIM) ABOUT NABIDH. HE (THE HOLY PROPHET) FORBADE
THEM TO PREPARE NABIDH IN VARNISHED JAR, HOLLOW STUMPS AND GOURD

IN HOLLOW STUMP AND IN WATERSKIN (meant for preserving wine). In
the hadith transmitted on the authority of Hammad the word."

preparation of) Nabidh in a green pitcher (besmeared with pitch),
whereupon he said that Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him)
forbade the (preparation of) Nabidh in green pitcher (besmeared
with pitch). I then came to Ibn Abbas and said: Do you hear what
Ibn 'Umar has said? Thereupon he said: What does he say? I said:
He stated that ALLAH'S MESSENGER (MAY PEACE BE UPON HIM) HAS
FORBIDDEN THE (PREPARATION OF) NABIDH IN A GREEN PITCHER
(BESMEARED WITH PITCH), whereupon he said: Ibn 'Umar has told the
truth. Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) declared unlawful
the preparation of Nabidh in a green pitcher (besmeared with
pitch). I said: What is this thing, the Nabidh of a pitcher (Nabidh
prepared in a pitcher)? Thereupon, he said: Everything that is
prepared in earthen pitcher.
Muslim, Book 023, Number 4934:
Ibn 'Umar reported: Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him)
addressed people in one of his expeditions. Ibn 'Umar said: I went

people present there): What did he say? THEY SAID THAT HE (THE
HOLY PROPHET) HAD FORBIDDEN THE PREPARATION OF NABIDH IN GOURD AND
VARNISHED JAR.
Muslim, Book 023, Number 4936:
Thabit reported: I said to Ibn 'Umar that ALLAH'S MESSENGER
(MAY PEACE BE UPON HIM) HAD FORBIDDEN THE PREPARATION OF NABIDH IN
THE GREEN PITCHER (BESMEARED WITH PITCH). He said: This is what
they stated. I said: DID ALLAH'S MESSENGER (MAY PEACE BE UPON HIM)
FORBID THIS? HE SAID: THEY SAID SO.
Muslim, Book 023, Number 4937:
A person asked Ibn 'Umar if the Apostle of Allah (may peace be
upon him) FORBADE THE PREPARATION OF NABIDH IN A GREEN PITCHER
(BESMEARED WITH PITCH). HE SAID: YES. Then Tawus said: By Allah, I
heard it from him.
Muslim, Book 023, Number 4938:
Ibn 'Umar reported that a person came to him and said: DID
ALLAH'S APOSTLE (MAY PEACE BE UPON HIM) FORBID THE PREPARATION OF
NABIDH IN A GREEN PITCHER (BESMEARED WITH PITCH AND) IN VARNISHED
JAR? HE SAID: YES.
