The Hurriyat leaders, it shouldn’t
be surprising, are refusing to see K.C. Pant and instead are
insisting on meeting Musharaff when he visits Bharat. After all,
the Hurriyat are just Paki stooges and actually the military
despot might just be using them as some kind of pressure lobby
during his visit here. That the Hurriyat is ISI-controlled is
already well known. What needs to be understood is that Musharaff
himself is at least indirectly controlled by the all-powerful
jihadi element savagely active in his army as well as his secret
service.
And it is precisely to keep this
factor satisfied that he is forced to keep the old pot-boiler
alive, that is- Kashmir! The Islamic clergy look upon Kashmir as a
legitimate Muslim state. The fact that Kashmir and all of Pakistan
were Hindu territories for millennia before the destructive advent
of Islam bears no importance. Kashmiri Pandits are murdered,
raped, and driven out of their ancestral land while the
"secular" media looks on unperturbed. Since the very
founding of Pakistan is based on the concept of separate Islamic
identity as laid out in the Quran, the clergy are automatically a
kind of extra-constitutional authority. Hence, every political
authority, whether democratic or not, has to bow down to the
wishes as issued from the numerous mosques dotting Pakistan’s
landscape. Right from 1947 itself, Pakistan has made it clear over
and over again that without Kashmir, it remains incomplete. Not
only this, but it is no secret that the Muslim League murderers of
1947 were extremely fond of chanting slogans threatening to
destroy Bharat itself…. this tradition still lives on. Given
this backdrop, what exactly do the parties concerned have in mind
in regards to this much hyped meeting, or is the whole affair
sponsored by media cartels in a bid to boost up the sales of
tabloids and periodicals? In today’s world anything is possible.
We can, however, be sure of one thing; Kashmir will remain in the
hell it currently is in, such stupid meetings not withstanding.
The state awaits that cleansing tide that only people like us can
provide….
