ENEMIES WITHIN
A grossly diffident and defeatist mentality, characterizes the
average Hindu pseudo-secularized mind whenever talks open out on
the Hindu-Muslim question. For them, the Muslim baddies are Osama’s
men and their Hindu counterparts are the VHP ‘thugs’ – that
there is an infinite gulf of difference between the attitude of
pro-Hindutva camps and that of even the ordinary Islamists, let
alone an Al Qaida member finds but zero registration in the minds
of such miserable humans. It is these people who will bring about
our destruction if not stopped. Moreover it never fails to amaze
me how furiously these people argue the so-called equality of
Hinduism and Islam, without ever having read even a word of the
essence of either.
What is this but naked hypocrisy ? When confronted with verses
from the Koran itself, their darling fall-back strategy is to
croak that interpretations differ. But who is talking about
interpreting the verses ? We are bringing out the literal
translations of them – translations by Muslim scholars
themselves. Is it really possible that the apologists of
secularism don’t understand this simple fact ? Take the case of
Jagannath yatra in Gujarat : the secular media is already raising
alarm bells that the yatra would lead to tensions between
communities. What this implies is that Hindus in spite of this
entire nation being theirs, since before the time when Muhammad’s
ancestors had even seen the light of day, should now seek
permission from Muslims to carry out their traditional ceremonies
and rituals. And if they refuse to do this, it is they themselves
who are mischief-mongers according to our enlightened secularists.
‘Peace even at the cost of dishonor’ seems to be the mantra of
this loathsome brigade.
To begin with secular concepts don’t apply to Hindus at all
since our faith was never tied up with political intrigues or
power-play. It was with the bloody advent of Islam, nurtured as
its proponents and warriors were by Mohammedan traditions and
memories that the trouble began and misfortunes started raining on
our nation – misfortunes that still continue. Shouldn’t we start working with even greater
fervor to undo the damage caused to the root that gave birth to this cancer ?
Arise Hindus! Awaken Bharat!
