As the hindus and their faith are demonised by the english press
and newsmedia these are a few thoughts I wish to share.
1. I share your sorrow in the deaths of the australian missionary
and his kids but where were you when hindus were/ and still are
butchered in kashmir?
2. There are frequent references and insinuation to the Bajarang
Dal despite the lack of sufficient evidence.
3. Jabua rape case has been mentioned in the same breath as the
orissa incedent. Blaming it all on hindu organizations despite
SUFFIENT EVIDENCE THAT THE PERPETRATORS IN THE JABUA CASE WERE
CHRISTIANS THEMSLEVES.
4. There is a huge hue and cry when churches are burnt. But when
Hanuman temples are burnt, statues of Gods urinated on and crosses
installed they get only a passing reference. Why this differential
reporting? Yes the attacks on the churches need to be condemned in
strongest words but wasn't it in retaliation to what was done to
the temples?
5. Who was the one benefited most by this incident in Orissa?
Anjana Mishra case knocking on the doors of J.B. Patnaik's
Chiefministership. Is it by chance that the main culprit was close
to a Congress-I minister? Also Sonia Gandhi who until then had
take Congressmen to task for indiscipline, surprisingly let Mr.
Patnaik go scottfree in the Anjana Mishra case.
6. There has been an attempt by the christians to call the tribals
of Dang as non-hindus because they worship the nature. Get this
straight - Hindus are worshippers of nature just as the tribals.
We wake up worshipping the Sun, the wind, the rain, the fire, the
ground that we all walk on, the cow, the tiger, the lion, the
forrest and yes the Vanardeb- monkey-god Hanuman or Maruti. So by
saying that the tribals of Dang are not hindus you are fooling no
one else except yourself. Look what you have done to Rwanda and
africa in general by taking your belief there.
7. The hindu organizations have been labelled as fascists and nazi
by the marxist/naxalite thinktank. What they do not tell us is
that why BJP/RSS/Shiv Sena leaders are targetted by the ISI but
the communists nutured by the same people. Hindu critics like
Kuldeep Nayar have also been ardent critics of the H-bomb and
supporters of the Indo-Pak 'bus yatra' and the cricket tour. Is
cricket more important than the lives of our Jawans in J&K?
8. The perpetrators of the Bomb attack in Mumbai and coimbotore
are still abscoding or free on bail. Today the hindus are
law-abiding but if they take up arms/bombs in frustration who will
be to blame?
9. I always wondered as a child why India - the land of brave
selfless people was under a 1000 years of slavery. Now I know why.
11. There was an interesting article on The Times of India about
Romila Thappar saying that the attack of Muhammed of Gazni on
Somnath was non-communal. And guess who presided over the meeting
- Rafiq Zakaria. Isn't it ironic that the same marxist historian
who create these little lies also reminds hindus about how
tolerant they should be when someone kills their brothers and
destroys their faith? and yet at a different seminar she
sermonizes about how bad the hindu religion is. Reminds me more of
an intellectual mercenary than a 'historian'.
12. How much longer do we hindus see our own brothers being
convereted by force and inducement to other religions? Keep the
faith strong and remember our ancestors who laid down their lives
but refused to give up our spirituality.
